The Emergent Threats Division (ETD) is a classified arm of the Department of Homeland Security, tasked with identifying, analyzing, and responding to anomalous digital threats and transmedia phenomena that pose potential risk to national security and civilian wellbeing.

Standard Protocols
All emergent phenomena are evaluated under JCIP-04 standards and DHS Directive 57-B. In cases involving public exposure or minor involvement, immediate interagency coordination is initiated with the FBI Cyber Division and the NCCIC.
Contact & Coordination
Secure inquiries can be routed through the DHS intranet portal or submitted via encrypted channels authorized by Tier 3 clearance or higher. Public disclosure of ETD operations is strictly prohibited.
